Nathan Lee joined The South African Ninjitsu Federation in 1984 , under the Tutorship of Master Barry Pictor , who he trained with for the next 8 years achieving the Rank of Sensei 3RD Dan, in this time he ran a Dojo in Turfontein for 6 years taking 3 students to 1ST Dan and one onto 2ND Dan.

 

In 1993 Adrian Fitzgerald took over the ownership of The Federation, where Nathan Instructed for a further 11 years, grading to 4TH Dan , and running a Dojo in Linden for 5 years, taking 2 students to 1ST Dan and one onto 3RD Dan

 

During this period ,he featured in FHM Magazine and S A Martial Arts Magazine, including 2 Articles in the Guardian Post and 2 Articles in the Santam Pos.

 

In 2004 Pieter Meyer took over the ownership of The Federation , where Nathan took over the position of National Head of Training, staying on as Chief Instructor for a further 2 years

 

At the end of 2005 , Nathan moved to The Black Dragon Fighting Society, where he was promoted to the Rank of Renshi 5TH Dan, after a short time with them , he decided to take a three year Sabbatical from the art.

 

In this time he affiliated with his colleague David Field who had started Ninja S A, becoming involved in occasional classes , in the early part of 2008 David convinced Nathan to come back into the art , where he started classes again on 08.05.08

 

Nathan has spent 24 years in the art of Ninjitsu.

 

He  was involved in both JKA Karate and Shaolin Kung-Fu before taking up Ninjitsu 

 

An expert in unarmed combat, weapons and pressure points

 

Weapons Qualified in:

Sword, Hanbo, Jo, Nun-chaka, Belt , Knife, Tonfa, Kukri, Kubitan.

 

Weapons with Limited Qualifications:

Sai, Kali , Kama, Spiderco, Balisong. 

 

Courses Attended:

Body guarding, NRA Basic, Tactical Firearm, Houseclearing,VIP Protection, Personal Escort

 Security ,Resident Security.

 

Courses attended and Instructed:Anti Hi-jacking, Cuffing & Searching, Self Defence, Kukri, Sword - Traditional & Ronen styles, Tando - Walking Stick Techniques, Long & Short Bladed Weapons
